miie artwork that took miie half a year to complete it and its finally done and handed in and sent it to the moe next tuesday lerhhs^^ ahahahas!!^^ title: MELANCHOLY why iie chose masks: Normally, masks gives a sense of secretive, because when wearing a mask , people are unable to see what expression that you are actually giving or expressing , and when you're wearing a mask , a beautidul mask , people will eventually gets attracted to your mask and focus on it. miie artwork's interpretation: everything seems to be simple, but actually it does not. what i'm trying to convey out is that the world , is not that simple as it seems to be. those desogns, patterns over the mask shows how beautiful it is. the lines and pattern designs will be the main concept of this artwork. A person't character is determined by it's environment , so to potray out the simple mask, pattern designs is drawn. so, in order to bring out the beauty of the mask, beautiful designs is need as well , so it also shows out that it's the environment that determines a person's character. colors used: By using white on the main mask actually gives a sense of purity and simple. this artwork clearly express out the feelings that thig girl has been hurt too much regardless by her family , lovers or friends , she is melancholy. bring a simple girl, easily influenced by others, whcih caused her not to be able to receive good indluence , and she is hurt till no happiness will be able to cheer her up. reflection: When looking at my artwork, the sense of satisfaction filled me up. after all the time that i've spent and effort on my artwork. the colors blended in do bring out the effect and as well as the feeling, the message that i would like to potray. was actually not fully satisfied because surely there is more rooms for improvement. blending of the colours as well as the painting methods is not really well done, and due to the size of the board has more space, i had to add in more drawings , but was elated that i can actually do it and finished my artwork on time. ^^   |
